BELTUG continues to receive questions from members about WAN optimisation and acceleration. Better performance and less bandwidth seem to concern most ICT managers, especially when no compromises on security can be allowed! Avoiding expensive bandwidth upgrades by putting more trust in controller tools has already been the topic of two previous BELTUG X-changes. The expectations of many BELTUG members in this booming domain have resulted in this newest X-change.

On the afternoon of 4 March, BELTUG is organising an interactive session, with an in depth overview of different solutions on the market by GartnerAgfa-Gevaert will then present its results with both the acceleration tools and the analytical, reporting and optimisation issues. Finally, a live demo visually demonstrating the impact of acceleration, optimisation and security topics will conclude this BELTUG X-change.

There will be plenty of time to exchange your own views and knowledge in this domain, and to address your expectations and problems to the presenters. What alternatives are there for the ICT manager, and how secure are these solutions?
