BlackBerry less insecure than other mail

The problem with security is not the device itself but the servers for the BlackBerry traffic (which are not in Belgium). The operating system of the BlackBerry is encrypted and can be renewed every 24 hours (giving hackers a very tough job). It is even safer than other smart phones, according to Danielle Jacobs, director of BELTUG. Apart from human carelessness in public places, Wi-Fi access in public hotspots is poorly secured.
