Council of State confirms new BIPT council

The Council of State has confirmed the nomination of Luc Hindryckx as president and Charles Cuvelliez, Catherine Rutten and Axel Desmedt as members of the board of postal and telecoms regulator BIPT. Former members George Denef and Michel Van Bellinghen had contested the nomination and brought their case before the court. The Council of State finally rejected their claim. Denef and Van Bellinghen can still demand the annulment of the selection procedure.
