Philip Du Bois, managing director of DNS.be, speaks out
According to Philip Du Bois, the new managing director of DNS.be, the stimulation of the Belgian internet market takes precedence over all other urgent tasks. Technological innovation may be important but it makes not always sense to be the ringleader. Moreover, drastic measures must be taken to have “.be” removed from the top-5 of most abused country codes. Over the past month, already 20 suspect sites have been blocked. Anyhow, he wants to work closely with the Board of Directors, in which BELTUG and ISPA have a seat. [DNNL – DNFR - 3 September 2010]
