According to Luc Van Durme, ICT service delivery manager at Eandis, Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are urgently needed for mobile data and will be part of Eandis’ next request for proposal for early 2011. Eandis has 1,500 data terminals that are linked to the 3G/GPRS network of Proximus. Van Durme wants to raise this issue with other BELTUG members even though mobile operators are not keen to broach the subject as long as their 3G networks are not optimized.
