Mobistar and BASE must surrender to BIPT
The Court of Appeal rejected the claim of Mobistar and Base about the decreasing termination rates imposed by telecoms regulator BIPT. End-June last year, the regulator had decided to lower drastically the termination rates for processing mobile calls; they should be only € 0,0108 by 2013. Mobistar already announced it will continue legal action. Only recently, BELTUG had complained that the telecoms operators failed to incorporate these reduced rates in their telephone bills.
