Danielle Jacobs new president of INTUG
With the election of BELTUG director Danielle Jacobs to the presidency of INTUG, she will be able to focus not only on regulation but also on exchanging expertise between national users associations and pragmatic advice to members. Via this new office, she is also an important interlocutor in negotiations with BEREC, the conference of European regulators. One of her first measures will be the introduction of web conferencing for board meetings to limit the number of flight hours. [TRENDS – 2 June 2011] Danielle Jacobs, director of BELTUG, is the new president of International Telecoms Users Group INTUG, in succession to Rosemary Sinclair of the Australian User Group. Jacobs has been heading BELTUG for more than 14 years. Previously she worked for Xylos and Febelfin.
