SIG Security - Security of mobile devices at USG People and App store security
With the increasing number of smartphones and tablets, app stores should be considered as a key player in delivering software. Unfortunately, cyber attackers can also use app stores as a new vector for malicious code. How should we protect ourselves against malware and non-secure apps?
A recent study from ENISA identifies five possible lines of defence:
