Beltug involved in implementation of NIS Directive

The European Parliament's Directive on security of network and information systems (the NIS Directive) aims to ensure a high common level of network and information security across the EU. Beltug has already made a Position for the Belgian government on the implementation act, asking that the obligations for Digital Service Providers be kept at a reasonable level, and that there be no 'parallel obligations' with the GDPR implementation.

Beltug joins with CIOForum, EuroCIO & INTUG to explore GDPR

On 24 April 2017, four associations - CIOForum, EuroCIO, INTUG and Beltug - invited their members to a joint GDPR afternoon, with a special focus on IT vendor assessment. Representatives from Allen & Overy, AVEVE, SCOPE Europe, Indaver, Beltug/INTUG and the European Commission, all shared their expertise and experiences from very different perspectives.
