BELTUG paper - Terminology communications technology
Companies increasingly deliberate internally on the use of communications technology and services. Because of multiple abbreviations and fast evolving technology, consultation among the various departments is not always efficient, particularly when non-IT colleagues and management are involved.
In order to help members streamline their topics, BELTUG drafted an overview with common terminology related to data and telecoms (available in Dutch and French, slides 33 pages). The list will be very useful to explain technology to anyone unfamiliar with this matter.
