Why join the Procurement SIG? The BELTUG Procurement SIG aims to help companies with the purchasing of communication and ICT services. The BELTUG Procurement SIG will be a platform: •to share information •to exchange experiences •to prepare actions/questions towards common suppliers
Who can participate? The Procurement SIG will be a “users only” group, open only to BELTUG ICT decision makers (IT managers, contract managers, procurement managers, telecom managers, etc.). When are the meetings? We foresee a frequency of four face-to-face meetings a year, but this will be decided by the SIG members themselves. For each meeting a specific subject will selected. Members will be invited to participate in a face-to-face meeting to exchange experiences and ideas on that topic with peers. Subjects for the Procurement SIG? •Selection of suppliers •From Request For Proposal to Best and Final Offer. •Contracts •Tools used for the management (price changes, contract completion, etc.) and monitoring (financial/quality) of contracts. •Benchmarking How to join? Just send us an email stating that you are interested. This SIG will start up in Q1 2012.
