Report of the B2B market study on ICT, commissioned by Beltug
The uncertain economic times are having real consequences for investments in IT and digital technology. This is evident from the Beltug 2023 Belgian Business ICT market study of 1,200 organisations. Our comprehensive report contains the results for the companies with more than 200 employees.
One of the findings is that, amongst larger organisations, about 60% say inflation is having an impact, and 34% expect it will cause current projects to be delayed. We also observe that for upcoming technologies such as the Metaverse, web 3.0 and VR glasses, large organisations show some curiosity, but use remains limited. And in the field of Cyber Security, there is still work to be done. Despite the number of known attacks, 20.6% of large organisation admit to having no plan in case of a breach.
