The PTC EMEIA division of Sumitomo Heavy Industries is an established global designer, manufacturer and supplier of drives, custom drive solutions, industrial gearboxes, electrical motors and variable frequency drives. Following fast growth in various Western countries, the company faced a diverse employee data landscape. HR and IT leaders needed to find a solution to address the growing need for actionable data and insights. However, not only was the data more diverse, but there was much more of it. Simultaneously, the need to ensure compliance and ease-of-use was also taking up significant resources.
