The increasing impact of these activities and initiatives on our members has led Beltug to launch the new Public Affairs Council. Its overall aim is to give Public Affairs professionals the opportunity to discuss digital legislation, policies and topics with peers, and inform Beltug about the key issues.

The Public Affairs Council will

  • Act as a sounding board giving feedback on legislation
  • Flag issues that go against business users’ interests
  • Bring Beltug’s positions to the attention of relevant stakeholders
  • Discuss new challenges
  • Exchange information and facilitate coalition-building on common positions of Beltug members

During the first meeting in November, we collected feedback on the interests of the participants, and scheduled the next meetings (in March and June 2023).
