For our discussions with policy makers regarding the upcoming update of the Belgian Privacy law, we want to identify the most relevant use cases for biometric data.

What is biometric data?
Biometric data results from the processing of a person’s physical or behavioural characteristics, and can include everything from fingerprints, iris scans and facial recognition to palm recognition, hand geometry, ear print, voice recognition, handwriting recognition and more.
