All about the data but what about governance and quality? (X-change)

Location:Business Faculty, Brussels

Our world today is all about data: and it feels like ‘the more the better’! We build our company strategies and go-to-markets on it.  But we know just collecting data isn’t enough.  From the perspectives of privacy and cybersecurity in particular, companies need qualitative data and solid governance for all the information flowing in.

In this session, we'll hear from seasoned experts about best practices that ensure organisations can see the data forest for the trees and avoid getting lost in a tangle of information.

Feel free to send your questions for the "Exchange of experiences" ahead of time, to be sure your issues are raised!

Please note that in order to guarantee an interactive discussion, we are keeping the number of attendees limited, so be sure to book your spot in time.

14:45 Data quality at Allianz

We’ll start by picking up a few best practices for guarding data quality:

  • Governance: who owns the data, IT or Business?
  • Management: migration after migration, historic pollution, no regression after changes, … AND what exactly do you need to know and keep?
  • Quality: workarounds for bugs or complex procedures for operators who need to provide quick, adequate support and service / fire and water.

Guided by these topics, we will gain valuable insights and set the scene for the rest of the event.
