At Beltug, we aim to keep you up-to-date with the latest evolutions, and provide you with valuable inspiration. We take that goal to the next level at our annual VIP Evening - an event that is always well attended and appreciated by our members! This year, we are proud to offer you an energising agenda of stimulating talks and plenty of opportunity to continue discussions and to network with your peers.

Ports have become an innovation platform enabling partners and stakeholders to engage in joint initiatives that support the local ecosystem. So what does digital transformation mean in the overall context of a Port with over 900 companies? What are the goals for the Port Authority, given the roles and strategic objectives as we move towards 2020? How can it apply innovative technologies such as blockchain, drones and autonomous shipping, and why? Guided by these questions, Erwin Verstraelen will share his insights into true digitisation and transformation.

Next, we'll hear about Herman De Prins’ journey to play with technology at the champions league level, in a time of radical and fast innovation. “All overnight success takes about 10 years,” Jeff Bezos explained a year ago. Digital is yesterday’s news; augmented intelligence is on today’s agenda. Face facts: luck isn’t enough. It takes time and training to win any global competition.

We look forward to meeting you in Brussels on 18 March!
