Everybody working from home? Easier said than done! (N-sight)

Date:02/12/2020
Time:13:30
Location:virtual meeting

‘Homeworking needs to become the norm!’ We’ve heard this over and over these past months. Indeed, working from home has become the default for many people. But behind the scenes, this new reality creates numerous challenges in the digital arena. Getting familiar with collaboration tools, information security, proper equipment, are only a few. For this reason, we have brought together several diverse topics into one ‘umbrella’ event.

During this N-sight we'll hear from mobco about the challenges of onboarding new employees – who you may never have even met face to face! -  while EPOS will share insight on the importance of creating an ergonomic workspace, regardless of where the employee is working. And Fednot will share the real-life case of digitising the notary sector.

Feel free to pass this invite on to your colleagues in HR or Facilities.

Agenda

13:30 Welcome and introduction

Ann Guinée, Communication Manager, Beltug (English)

13:40 Get on board: the employee experience in the new normal

Switching to a remote workforce is challenging, and this certainly includes virtually onboarding new employees. Creating a positive employee experience is crucial in the new normal, which includes hiring staff without having met them in person, remote management of work tools, etc. But with the right tools, the process can be just as effective. In this presentation, we’ll learn about a platform for ensuring new employees receive the right onboarding experience, and the right IT tools - functional and secured! This session is particularly relevant if you are involved in IT, Facilities or HR management.

Ulrik Van Schepdael, CEO, mobco (English)

14:10 Case: Over 25,000 deeds signed online at the notary

Like many professions, notaries’ practices have been heavily impacted by the global health crisis and the corresponding confinement measures. One result is an increased drive for digitisation in the sensitive area of deeds and official signatures.

During this presentation, we hear about:

  • The approach to the digital transformation of the notary sector
  • Video conference and communication platform between notary offices, and between the notary and clients
  • Guidance for the notary, employees and clients
  •

Gerdy De Clercq, Chief Information Officer, Fednot (English)

14:40 Workspace ergonomics: how furniture and equipment design affects people’s productivity

More than ever, we are experiencing that we can work from anywhere. And whether in a home office or elsewhere, a workstation with ergonomic solutions always improves productivity. By designing a workplace that enables good posture, less exertion, fewer motions and optimal heights and reaches, employees can work more efficiently.

Greet Vandekerckhove, Channel Manager Belux, EPOS (English)

15:10 Q&A: Your questions, your experience

15:30 Wrap up & End

We will keep the session open after the end to enable those who wish to continue the discussions.
