Yet how do you draft a corporate policy that covers everything from work email, to BYOD for different devices, to all the issues around homeworking? How do you keep costs, security and more under control, while ensuring the employee’s privacy is respected? And, critically, how can you avoid employer/employee misunderstandings or conflicts regarding electronic communication and mobile devices - especially now that working from home is becoming a ‘normal’ part of the work structure for many more profiles, and many more days a week?
Beltug’s Recommendations on Corporate Policy brings together legal, security, human resources, ICT and social security issues and insights, for best practices and corporate policies. While Beltug regularly updates the Paper, the introduction of structural telework after the Covid-19 pandemic has created a need for a whole series of new or adjusted agreements, making this revised edition even more relevant.
The 2021 update of the Paper, based on discussions with members and input from experts, focusses on online and hybrid collaboration, cybersecurity, mobility, privacy, device management versus BYOD, and much more.
In addition, in summer 2021, Beltug arranged an ‘Ask a Peer’ for our members to share their policies (finalised or draft) with Beltug, and with their fellow members. These can be viewed here.
