BELTUG x-change - experiences with UMTS - report and presentations


Many companies are using or building mobile applications for “on the road” workers, such as sales or field force. Now, users want to discuss the reliability of and their experiences with the 3G and UMTS networks in Belgium.

ADMB (a social regulations and HR Management company) introduced the topic by illustrating its own mobile usage of electronic health and administrative files when visiting companies on-site. ADMB doctors run workplace prevention and protection inspections of companies in Flanders. The organisation needs fast response times and reliable coverage, so it studied end-user experiences.
