Work in the Belgian Parliament has resumed, and a number of BELTUG issues were raised in the Infrastructure Commission to Minister De Croo, who is responsible for the Digital Agenda. Key topics for BELTUG and our members included guest Wi-Fi, the ASTRID network and data retention. We will of course continue to follow up and keep you informed of the progress of the discussions and actions.
We also made an in-depth analysis of the subjects that touch on the digital economy in the Coalition Agreement. This will ensure that we can focus on the most important issues for businesses and business users in our contacts/lobbying with MP, Ministers and administrations. One example is a tax and social security environment that stimulates mobile working.
