BELTUG gets support for data protection activities from Digital Minds

As a member of Minister for Digital Agenda Alexander De Croo's Digital Minds collective, BELTUG General Manager Danielle Jacobs had the opportunity to present the concrete activities we intend to work on regarding the GDPR (EU-level data protection regulations) at a meeting in February 2016. These activities and initatives are being developed following our BELTUG workshop in January with Allen & Overy, where we discussed with our members how BELTUG can help companies in preparing for the implementation of the GDPR.

After the presentation , several high-level participants approached Danielle to offer their support and feedback to help BELTUG make this a strong initiative. We are already presenting a draft checklist at our X-change of 15 March, and we will keep you updated about further progress.
