Beltug Board changes - waving goodbye to Paul De Cooman, and welcoming Bjorn Van Reet, CIO Kinepolis

The composition of the Beltug management changed at the end of April 2019.  Paul De Cooman retired as Beltug's Managing Director, leaving his seat to Danielle Jacobs, while Bjorn Van Reet joined the Beltug Board.  Claude Rapoport remains President of Beltug.

With great appreciation for his more than 20 years of unwavering leadership and support, we take leave of Managing Director Paul De Cooman, who intends to fully enjoy his retirement and focus on family and friends.

Effective 25 April 2019, Danielle Jacobs, already General Manager of Beltug, took on the role of CEO of the association. Claude Rapoport remains President of Beltug.  In that position, he chairs the Board, establishing the association’s mission and vision.

At the same time, we welcomed Bjorn Van Reet, CIO of Kinepolis, as new Board member.  With his expertise and enthusiastic drive, he will bring a valuable contribution to the strategic course of Beltug.

We are grateful for the unstinting support of our entire Board and Beltug Council.  Our association of digital technology leaders continues to experience steady growth, while we receive many queries to implement additional initiatives from the member companies.  In the upcoming months, together with our Board and our stakeholders, we will evaluate and revisit our current strategy and approach; this strategic exercise will strengthen us in our activities over the coming years.
