Based on the input we received from 51 respondents, we have created an overview with our findings. Most of our members have enterprise agreements; this means the impact of the price increases is felt at the time of contract renewal. Some members who have already renewed report increases of 0-15%. Organisations with a renewal ahead, however, are concerned by both Microsoft’s pricing announcement and inflation rates.

In addition to the information on Microsoft, we have also received some comments on other providers. The feedback we gathered confirms the importance of the 11 Fair Principles and the need to convince EU/Belgian policy makers to work on a better cloud environment. We are working on the Digital Markets Act and Data Act in this context. Within this perspective, Beltug and our sister CIO organisations Cigref (France), CIO Platform (Netherlands) and Voice (Germany) will meet Microsoft to discuss the most important common topics for the business market.
