D-scover Regulatory: EU rules and a zoom into cloud switching and exit
Digital regulations in the EU are shifting fast, and Beltug members need to be ready. From data to cloud, cyber security, AI and beyond, the new rules will influence how you operate, where your responsibilities lie, and what liabilities you face. Furthermore, the European Commission has announced new initiatives. We explored what these mean in practice, shared insights on implementation, and took a look at the current market dynamics.

In our 7th D-scover Regulatory session, we started with an update on the legislative acts that are most relevant to business users of digital technology. Then, we zoomed in on the Data Act, starting with the work of the EC’s Expert Group to create a set of standard contractual clauses for cloud contracts. We wrapped up with a look at the obligations that the Data Act and other data regulations place on organisations.
