Beltug members – and especially those in the public sector – have made it clear that the AI Act is a priority. At this D-scover Regulatory, we provided an update and dived even more deeply into this legislation, building on the general overview from our previous D-scover Regulatory on the topic. We discussed the overall scope as well as the upcoming obligation to ensure the people working with AI are trained, i.e. ‘AI literacy’. And we saw how peers are preparing.

In our 6th D-scover Regulatory session, we first heard from CiTiP experts about the material, temporal and personal scope of the AI Act and what it all means in terms of training on AI literacy. Then Data Trust Associates explained what they see in the market, and UZ Leuven shared their own preparations.
