We took a look at what is coming in the world of data protection, what matters most, and how you can prepare with clarity rather than guesswork. In this session, we heard from several members of the Beltug Privacy Council. Christoph Balduck started us off by introducing a new framework that helps organisations navigate evolving EU digital regulation and act on it. Then Marja Lubbers and Klaas Ghesquiere explored the relationship between data protection and information security, and how to turn potential friction into stronger governance and resilience. Finally, Koen Gorissen, President of the Belgian Data Protection Authority, shared insight into key topics, with plenty of time for questions and discussion.
