One of the most difficult privacy topics companies are struggling with is the use of biometric data, such as fingerprints and facial recognition. For our discussions with policy makers regarding the upcoming update of the Belgian Privacy law, we want to identify the most relevant use cases for biometric data. We are also considering developing a data protection impact assessment (DPIA) that covers the most common use cases.

Both these goals require the voice and insight of our members, so we organised a short poll about how and under what circumstances companies are using biometric.

The results and conclusions are available to our members, after logging in.
