This event offered two complementary perspectives: the strategic application of IT cost benchmarking in a university setting and the principle of IT value in the global Technology Business Management (TBM) framework. We started with a real-life story from UHasselt about an IT cost benchmarking initiative that supports its governance strategy to meet evolving organisational needs. Then, we were taken into the world of TBM and how it can be used to elevate IT’s contribution to business performance.
