At the request of a Beltug member, we asked members of the CIO Cabinet and the Privacy Council for their recommendations, resources and examples on updating AI policies. Two Beltug members have shared their (anonymised) policies on the responsible use of AI.

The comprehensive ‘AI acceptable use policy’ (in English) covers governance, security, compliance and organisational responsibilities. It also addresses areas such as data handling, AI ethics, transparency, roles and responsibilities, and the governance of AI systems throughout the organisation.

‘Richtlijnen voor het gebruik van publiek toegankelijke generatieve AI‘ (in Dutch) provides practical guidelines for employees using publicly accessible generative AI. It explains where genAI can add value, highlights the key risks, and offers practical guidance on topics such as handling sensitive information, verifying AI-generated content, transparency and appropriate everyday use.

The AI policies are available to Beltug members after login.

Our thanks to the members who share their policies and insights. Beltug’s strength lies in the sharing of knowledge between peers who are going through the same journeys.
