Your cyber response plan is in place… but have you considered this?

In our Belgian Business ICT market study, 20% of large organisations told us they have no plan set up should they experience a cyber incident. If you are one of them, we hope you will be inspired to take action. But if you do have a plan, let’s make sure it hits all the right points! Do you have a clear view of your legal obligations? In this session, we aimed to bring up a few things participants might not have thought of until now. First, we heard about the tool the Federation of Belgian Companies (VBO-FEB) has created to help companies make sure they are fulfilling all their obligations when hit by a cyber incident. Then, Verizon showed how to learn from the abundance of breaches that have happened to other companies. We wrapped up with real-life experiences from 9altitudes that illustrate best practices for preparing a response to cyber incidents.
