SAP S/4HANA task force

To provide our members with a space for sharing common concerns, we set up the SAP S/4HANA Task Force. This dynamic group of SAP customers (SAP is not a member of the group) meet to exchange experiences, best practices and more.

Beltug challenges SAP

Our members were able to bring their concerns directly to SAP, when we organised a meeting with Stijn De Beuckelaer, Managing Director SAP Belgium & Luxembourg.

Some of the topics discussed included:

  • The lack of transparency on the feature gap between SAP S/4Hana cloud vs on-premise
  • Missing functionalities in new cloud products such as SAP Process Automation vs on-premise workflow
  • The lack of openness to 3rd-party reporting tools
  • Concerns about how SAP will use customer data for AI training

In the meeting, SAP acknowledged the pain points, and provided some clarity on how they plan to address many of the concerns raised. For example, our members want SAP to provide a clear overview of missing features in cloud vs on-premise. SAP agreed to provide more transparency here. We will continue to call on SAP to enable more open dialogue and transparency in areas including product feature gaps, pricing practices, etc.
