Beltug government memorandum covering our key issues

Companies and institutions today face significant challenges, some of which have been accelerated or intensified by the COVID-19 pandemic. Before the global health crisis, we were already facing a wave of digitisation, and the need for this transformation has only grown. Every organisation must transform to meet the evolving requirements of customers, staff and other stakeholders.

But to really make a difference, a policy with vision and a good framework is needed.

Beltug calls upon all levels of the government to make digitisation a priority. We have put together a Memorandum outlining the priorities of the business users. It covers our key issues, including the need for a teleworking policy with vision, powerful telecommunications networks, a practical framework for privacy and security, fair practices between business users and their cloud service providers, and a European data strategy.

Our memorandum is available in French and Dutch.
