With the summer holidays approaching, Europeans are eager to travel. To ensure a true ‘roam like at home’ experience, the Roaming Regulation aims to increase transparency by mobile operators for roaming customers travelling in the European Economic Area (EEA), on how to access emergency services, as well as numbering ranges for value-added services.

Several roaming databases have been published on the BEREC website; these include data on the numbering ranges for value-added services in each Member State, the methods of accessing emergency services that are technically feasible for roaming customers, and mobile applications for public warning systems.
